Liz Barnes

When we first moved to Oak Park, my son attended Pilgrim and it was such a warm and wonderful start to our life here. After earning a degree in English and working as an editor, I switched to teaching young children over a decade ago, first as a parent-teacher at a preschool co-op and then a first grade reading instructor, and recently returning to school to study Early Childhood Education and teach in local preschools. I love sharing the wonder of nature and the joy of exploring and learning. I'm thrilled to join your children in their preschool adventure. Outside the classroom, I enjoy traveling, baking, reading, and riding roller coasters. I live in Oak Park with my spouse, two teenage children, and our cats Cactus and Candy Corn.
